Samantha Houchin is the co-owner of The Weather Changers Heating & Air Conditioning, a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer serving the Denver metro area. Alongside her husband Chris, Samantha has grown their business from a two-person operation into an award-winning company recognized nationally for excellence, customer service, and innovation. Under her leadership, The Weather Changers was named the 2023 Bryant Dealer of the Year, the 2025 Charles Bryant Award winner (Bryant’s top dealer honour), and the 2025 Small Business of the Year by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. A champion of technician development, Samantha personally obtained her NATE certification to lead by example and built an in-house NATE training program to ensure every technician has access to resources, mentoring, and continuing education. She organizes monthly case study meetings, facilitates group learning threads, and creates tools and cheat sheets to help technicians in the field solve problems with confidence. Her passion for training stems from a belief that raising the bar for technician knowledge elevates the reputation of the HVAC industry as a whole. Beyond her company, Samantha is a respected voice in the industry. She serves on Carrier’s Dealer Experience Council, is an active member of Women in HVACR and Bryant Women in HVAC, and is frequently recognized as a leader shaping the future of the skilled trades. She was named one of ColoradoBiz Magazine’s Top Women in Colorado 2025 and will be featured in ACHR NEWS’s “Top Women in HVACR” issue later this year. Samantha’s vision is to expand her influence beyond her company by contributing to organizations like NATE, where she can combine her field knowledge, training expertise, and commitment to technician excellence to further strengthen the pipeline of skilled, certified professionals. She is dedicated to helping technicians see NATE certification not only as a credential, but as a career-long foundation for growth, opportunity, and pride in the trade.
