Mike Richter is President of Brightcore Energy, where he leads the delivery of end-to-end energy efficiency solutions for the commercial market, including LED lighting, solar, geothermal heating and cooling, EV charging, and battery storage. Appointed at the company’s founding in 2015, he oversees business development and strategic growth. A recognized voice on environmental policy and climate issues, Richter has spoken before audiences including the U.S. Senate Special Committee on the Climate Crisis and has served on the boards of the Sierra Club Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and Riverkeeper. A former NHL All-Star, Stanley Cup Champion, and Olympic medalist, he holds a degree from Yale University and brings a lifelong passion for sustainability to his leadership at Brightcore.
