The UK Apprentice Model ' What lessons we can learn
Apprenticeships can be seen as a lesser route to a career compared with going to university. However, with a shortage of trade skills in the US and worldwide, it’s vitally important to attract new talent to the industry. With AI threatening white-collar jobs, more young Americans are opting for trades careers. This session looks at apprenticeship models in North America and the UK, what the what we we can learn from other countries, and how we can amplify the benefits of a trades career. The talk will be centred on The Adroit Services `Journey of an Apprentice` film, and will investigate the findings.
